Matt joined Vertech in 2021 after several decades working in various manufacturing capacities. He started his career in factory automation with a company that makes flame spray equipment as part of the system automation group creating custom processing solutions for their customers. Between this beginning and Vertech, he has worked in different layers of the automation stack, starting in PLC programming, to SCADA development, to finally designing and implementing MES systems, working with Ignition and Sepasoft since 2014. His technical skills include MES solution architecture, database design, UI Design, PLC programming, and C# programming.
Outside of work, Matt enjoys woodworking, building all his office furniture. He is constructing a CNC router with parts bought off eBay and has also branched out to metalworking with a milling machine and welding station in his garage.
